Chief Executive Officer Timothy Brown

Brown Private Investigations is a private investigative agency located in Barnesville, Georgia, that began its conception in 2018 by Timothy Brown. The agency is a family and veteran owned business. In 2015, Timothy Brown entered the Florida Highway Patrol Training Academy to become a Florida State Trooper. He graduated the academy in 2016, beginning in Patrol conducting investigations ranging from Traffic Crashes to Traffic Crash fatalities preliminary investigation which would then be handed over to the Traffic Homicide Investigation Unit. He exceled in DUI (Driving Under the Influence), Speed, Crash, Hit and Run, Warrant, and Narcotic investigations. He would later volunteer to be part of the QRF (Quick Response Force) team which their primary objectives were to prevent riots, enact mass arrests, provide security, and to provide rapid assistance to areas of the state affected by hurricanes or other natural disasters. He was part of many different teams and taskforces including but not limited to, DUI Taskforces, QRF Team, the Northwest Florida Regional Domestic Security Task Force, and the Presidential Secret Service Detail.

He received many commendations during his employment and was known for making many arrests which later, gave him the nickname "Wasp" by his local command staff. He was exceptionally experienced and successful in locating suspects that were hard to find. He was then moved into an unmarked patrol vehicle for selective enforcement before ultimately leaving the highway patrol. During his time in Law Enforcement, he observed many times that law enforcement did not have the manpower nor took the time to exhaust every lead before closing out a case. After leaving, he obtained his Private Security and Private Investigator license in Florida after passing rigorous examinations. He moved into those fields working with multiple private security agencies and private investigative agencies. He worked many different investigations including but not limited to, Background Checks, Surveillance, Welfare Checks, SIU – Insurance Fraud and Healthcare Fraud, Domestics, Child Custody and Protection including the investigation of Sexual Offenses.

He also worked as a contracted Protective Security Officer for the Federal Government and as a Executive Protection Agent for contracted clients while in Private Security. Ultimately, he observed the same issue with investigations in the private sector. Not only were companies taking their client's money and not doing a great job, but they did not care to investigate thoroughly. Timothy saw that there was a need for reform and decided in 2018 that he would open his own Private Investigative Agency. Shortly within the next year, he moved to Georgia where he began the process of opening his own agency. He served in the United States Army National Guard for six years before transferring to the United States Army Reserve where he is currently pursuing his dream of becoming a Special Agent for the Criminal Investigation Division Command. He is currently pursuing his degree in Criminal Justice.
